I write for the sheer joy of it—not for fame or fortune. That said, few things delight me more than hearing from readers who’ve connected with my stories and eagerly await the next. Your enthusiasm is my greatest reward.

Writing came to me in what I consider the third chapter of my life. After a fulfilling 32-year career in the corporate world, I spent a period caring for loved ones. When that chapter closed, I finally turned the page to something I’d long known I could do—if only I had the time. So I began writing novels, and occasionally, one-act plays and even short stories.

I’ve always been a people person. I believe wholeheartedly that everyone—regardless of background, ethnicity, or gender—deserves to be heard and to contribute their unique voice to society. That belief naturally shapes my writing. My novels are character-driven, each anchored by a plot that tackles pressing social issues—from property scams and gambling addiction to child abuse, human trafficking, and the global drug crisis.

At the heart of my stories are The Silveries, a spirited group of retirees living in Magnolia Court, a retirement complex with more drama than most city blocks. We first met in 2018, when the idea of a band of independently minded seniors solving mysteries and righting wrongs took root. Their debut, The Silver Sting, was published in 2019, followed by The Silver Dollar, The Silver Dagger, The Silver Lining, and the soon-to-be-released The Silver Bullet. The novella, California Dreaming, is an introduction to the stars of the show.

Each book in the series traces the lives of Magnolia Court’s residents as they navigate the later chapters of life. Over time, we bid farewell to beloved characters—never truly gone, always cherished in the memories of their friends. And with each goodbye comes a new hello, as fresh faces arrive, bringing their own stories, quirks, and challenges.

Occasionally, a story idea takes hold and refuses to let go, leading me away from The Silveries for a time. The Gypsy Killer is one such novel—often mentioned by readers and friends, and still very close to my heart.

I unapologetically write stories with happy endings. In a world that can feel heavy, I believe we all need a little light—a reminder of the goodness in people and the power of kindness.

Writing isn’t my full-time pursuit. I carve out time to travel, exploring the far-flung destinations that have long lived on my bucket list. Last year’s adventure in Mexico sparked The Silver Lining. I’ve just returned from an unforgettable journey through South Africa—and yes, a new story is already beginning to stir…
