Due any day now.

It’s a nerve-wracking time. Even after receiving the thumbs up from my Beta readers, I still sit on the edge of my seat waiting for the judgment of my copy editor, whose opinion and knowledge I value greatly.

Grammatical and spelling errors, inconsistencies within the novel and between this and the previous book in the series, missed opportunities for suspense and not forgetting all the fact checking, paying for a good copy editor is a no brainer. A must do.

The story behind The Silver Bullet, Book 5 in the Silveries series was inspired by the last part of one of my recent travel experiences. An eight-day stay in San Carlos on the Sea of Cortez, Mexico – fabulous place for a holiday – peaked my curiosity and led me to do some research on drugs and the cartels.  Who wouldn’t be inspired by such scenery and whose curiosity wouldn’t be piqued by the whispers that abound.

While I work on updating the manuscript, my lovely, talented graphic designer is busy working on the distinctive cover for the book.  

With a fair wind, The Silver Bullet will be complete and available later this year or early in the new year. So much can happen in the meantime, I have learnt not to make promises on dates.

Warning! I’ve just been to South Africa, and I don’t think such an amazing holiday can go unreported, if only through another novel. No promises…

Keep an eye on my website. I’m dying to share photographs of my South Africa trip, but work on The Silver Bullet manuscript has to be given priority.
